I wanted to experiment with the old, past, and vintage. I wanted a rusted feeling - something warm and something dizzy - I wanted it to feel like a heatstroke sweating on the rusty swing in the summer.
This is more collage based and vintage feeling - pressing flowers into a scrapbook trying to hold the memory - I wanted something that felt sick like someone was running low on time.

I wanted to continue the theme of the past; Most of the time when I think of old and retro, I think of static and grain along with arcades and people having a good time.
Then I evolved into a more modern, technological theme. I wanted the disk to seem like a hologram, and that the lamp pole was projecting it like a screen.

"Bloom" was one of my first initial creations after the holographic poster. I wanted to experiment with Adobe Illustrators' new 3-Dimensional aspects and their effects on those elements. I found that adding "chrome" to these 3D shapes helped to show the depth of the objects better.
I started veering towards commercialized ideas and news in the media. I wanted to see if I could create a very chaotic poster while still keeping the information legible and clear which led to a lot more experimentation with textures and layering those textures together.
When looking at the floppy disk, it started to look like an eye, and the more I stared at it, the more it reminded me of a robotic eye of a security camera. I thought of how it seemed there was someone watching constantly through technology, and how a lot of people fall to corruption or brainwashing.
